17th Sept: Shimla
Shimla arrival and you can visit the Jakhu temple, advance studies and later stroll around Mall road and ridge of Shimla. Overnight at hotel in Shimla.
18th Sept: Shimla – Sangla
After breakfast leave Shimla and head towards Rampur via Kufri and Narkanda. Sarahan is known for Bhimakali temple, dedicated to the mother Goddess Bhimakali, presiding deities of former Bushahr state. After visiting the temple head towards Kinnaur. Kinnaur is known for its delicious apples and orchards, beautiful meadows in the lower belt and the adventurous road. The road that leads to Sangla is an example of engineering marvel. Sangla is considered as one of the most beautiful valleys in the Himalayas. Chitkul is the last village of Baspa Valley ( another name for Sangla Valley) because of the river Baspa. Overnight at hotel in Sangla.
19th Sept: Chitkul village
Visit Chitkul village after breakfast and later walk to Batseri village in Sangla valley . Overnight in hotel in Sangla
20th Sept: Sangla – Nako
Today you will be driving towards the upper belt of Kinnaur and one of the most revered places Nako. Nako lake is sacred as there lies a stone which has footprint of Guru Padmasambhava. Overnight stay at guest house in Nako
21st Sept: Nako – Gyu village – Tabo
On your way to Tabo, take the link road to Gyu which will take you to this remote village and visit the mummy of an old monk placed on top of the village. Later drive to Tabo and visit Tabo monastery which is said to have built in 996 AD. Tabo is also known as the Ajanta of Himalayas. Overnight at hotel/guest house in Tabo.
22nd Sept: Tabo – Dhankar Monastery-Kaza
After breakfast drive to Dhankar and visit the monastery perched on the edge of the mountain but in dilipidated condition. Later visit Kungri monastery in Pin Valley. Reach Kaza by late evening. Overnight at hotel in Kaza
23rd Sept: Kee, Kibber, Langza and Komic
You will be visiting Kibber village ( from where the famous Parangla Trek begins or ends) and return to Kye monastery, the largest monastery of Spiti valley. Langza is a small and beautiful village on the way to Komic which is said to be the highest village in Asia with motorable road.. Overnight at Kaza or homestay either in Langza or Komic.
24th Sept: Kaza- Losar
Stroll around the small Kaza bazaar after breakfast and post lunch head towards Losar village , the last village of Spiti Valley before Kunzom Pass. Overnight at guest house.
25th Sept 2017: Losar – Chandertaal Lake – Manali
Chander means Moon and Taal for lake, the moonlake is a beautiful place from where one can trek towards Baralachala and a nice place to give a break from this hectic life. Later experience offroad drive for a couple of hours until you reach Gramphu and reach Rohtang Pass. Reach Manali and overnight at hotel.
26th Sept: Day at leisure in Manali. Catch a eveneing bus to Delhi/ Chandigarh
